What IPX7 waterproofing does on these flossers

An IPX7 rating means the unit can be submerged in water for a short period without damage. In practice, that lets you use the flosser in the shower, rinse the whole body under the tap, and store it wet without worrying about the battery compartment. The samples all carry IPX7, so the rating is consistent across the slice rather than a differentiator between units.

The sealed housing also protects the charging port and buttons from splashes during normal sink use. You can fill the tank, run a cycle, and shake the unit dry without water reaching the electronics. That matters more in a wet bathroom than in a dry travel bag.

Waterproofing does not change the cleaning action itself. The jet pressure, mode count, and tip design still determine how well the flosser removes plaque. IPX7 is a durability feature, not a performance one.

How the sealed build shows up in use

The samples pair IPX7 with cordless bodies, rechargeable batteries, and tanks up to 300ML. Colors include black, white, blue, green, gray, orange, purple, and light blue, so the sealed shell comes in a range of finishes. USB-C and other fast-charge inputs appear across the samples, and the port cover is part of the waterproof seal.

Because the whole unit can get wet, cleaning is simple: run the tank under water, wipe the tip, and let it air dry. No separate drying routine is needed before the next use.

Common questions

Waterproof flosser questions

Can I use an IPX7 water flosser in the shower?

Yes, IPX7 means the unit survives short submersion and is safe in a wet shower.

Does IPX7 mean the flosser floats?

No, the rating covers water resistance, not buoyancy, so it will still sink.

Can I rinse the whole waterproof flosser under the tap?

Yes, the sealed housing and covered port allow a full rinse after each use.

Do waterproof water flossers need a special charging routine?

No, just close the port cover before rinsing and charge when the battery runs low.
